DIY: Sombrero bordado// embroidery hat

Hoy os traigo un DIY que os va a encantar hacer y que podéis personalizar como más os guste... vamos a bordar nuestro sombrero de paja, en mi caso un canotier, para este verano. 

Today I show you a DIY that you will love doing and that you can customize as you like ... we will embroider our straw hat, in my case a canotier, for this summer.

Materiales: -Sombrero (éste canotier de paja es de Aliexpress como os mostraba el viernes y no llegó a los 6 €, y es de paja)

-Hilo de bordar e hilo normal, y aguja claro

- Opcional otras decoraciones (borlas, pompones, flores,... en mi caso una aplicación de estrellita que tenía por casa).

Materials: - Hat (this straw canotier is from Aliexpress as I showed you on Friday and it costs about € 6)

-Embroidery thread and normal thread, and of course a needle

- Optional other decorations (tassels, pompoms, flowers, ... in my case a star that I got at home).

1. Con el hilo de bordar vamos sobreponiendo y creando, sobre el sombrero, las letras de nuestra palabra. Y lo vamos fijando haciendo a mano una costura zig zag que sujete el cordón. Espero que en las fotos podáis ver el tipo de puntada. 

1. With the embroidery thread we are superimposing and creating, over the hat, the letters of our word. And we fix it by making a zigzag seam that holds the cord by hand. I hope that in the photos you can see the type of stitch.

2. Poco a poco con paciencia y fijándolo bien.//Step by step, fix it well

3. Si lo quieres decorar más, desata tu imaginación, flores, pompones, lo que le quieras añadir. Yo quería algo muy básico pero el toque de la estrellita me pareció bien.
3. If you want to decorate it more, just lets fly your imagination, flowers, pompoms, whatever you want to add. I wanted something very basic but I like the detail of the star.
